Super interesting concept! Personally I was more gripped by cel by date because its themes and character dialogue seemed more personal and intimate, so I only got a few endings here before putting this one down.

Your art style is extremely unique! If you keep creating visual novels you would definitely stand out if you stuck with oil painting!

Can't wait to see your next project!

Thanks so much! I'm definitely interested in painting like this again whenever I next have a project where it would fit.

Next up should finally be the demo for my Big Project, fingers crossed 😭

This both looked and read AMAZINGLY! I got so much out of this in so short a time. You nailed letting me fill in the lines with reading the setting as well as the player character's dialog options.

The art looked stellar, and your shading effect and the eyes did so much work scrolling through each line. It was an abstract look for an unsureness that was surely felt by the reader's character.

Word for word, the dialog carries a lot! The prince felt so 3-Dimensional, and leaving it up to my own brain to fill in the blanks about just what was taking place was so fun.

Yay, I'm so glad you enjoyed!!

Ooooh I loved this! The art choice was so good. I really enjoyed playing through it with the luxury of being able to start over with new information if I didn't like a particular outcome (the joys of visual novels!) - that makes this an interesting medium for looking at a scene like this, unlike real life where you will never know the "what ifs" and will always live with uncertainty and have to just deal with what you chose.

It actually kind of made my first playthrough my favorite one because I had to just go with something when the full picture was unclear. But I definitely went back through to explore other options out of curiosity. Super cool project.

Thanks! I really wanted to make something super open-ended that people can project their own feelings about the subject onto because Man do I have a lot of relevant feelings that I am unable to reach solid conclusions about. Doing a single scene without context was fun. Thanks so much for playing!!
